Lily is a seven-year-old cockapoo (that's a cocker spaniel/poodle mix) who came into the life of Sandy Cooper, assistant vice president of Human Resources for OSU in Tulsa, in 2010. The family's other cockapoo wanted a sister, and Lily was waiting at the Miami, Okla. animal shelter for just that chance.
Lily has lots of energy but loves to snuggle. She is always on alert for anything she needs to be involved in, especially with people, dogs, cats and squirrels. She loves to watch out the window and guard her house -- just in case a cat or squirrel gets too close.
Fruits and vegetables are Lily's favorite treats, and she loves all kinds of toys.
Lily has received her Canine Good Citizen certification. She is now retired from Pete's Pet Posse Tulsa.
